The Riddle of the SphinxesThere are simply too many sphinxes on Aristarchus plateau!Such as Unmasked Sphinxes by Aristarchus Crater (photo from some guy's webcam)

they've apparently blocked out part of the structure with a big black blob and covered the shinier surfaces of the sphinx with some kind of roughened texture to detract from the fact it's a shiny metal. And then of course, is the mystery of the disappearing female sphinx: Clementine photo of a pair of sphinxes 
Same pair of sphinxes only the female has been turned into a rounded lump of rock, (lunar orbiter)

Add sphinx above to long cylindrical shape, which is itself encirlced by the winding coils of a fire breathing dragon who is grasping the long cylinder in his claws
