The Light

Hello Mr. Lear, it is an honor! I just enjoyed you interview on the Camelot site. You have probally been asked this 100 times, if so, if you can point me in the right direction to read your reply, if not...
A few months ago I caught a rerun of C2C w/ Art Bell and you said "don't go to the light, it's a trick" and I don't recall any follow up on that comment. I have thought about this comment everyday! I would guess it has to do with the soul tower on the moon. Where is there to go if not the light?
oba

this is an interesting <phototaxis> question.

notice how shrimp & squid go to the light and end up on a skillet.
ditto moths & coleman lanterns.

it goes very much deeper but the Q is legitimate.
I think I'd have to put on a Buddhist robe to probe further.

The comment to  'not go towards the light' was told to me by Whitley Streiber about 20 years ago.

With more information under my belt I know believe that we don't have a choice and that going towards the light is not hazardous.

I think that when we die our soul goes somehwere for an 'after action' briefing. We have to confront and review every single bad and nasty thing we ever did in our lives and nothing is missed no matter how apparently inconsequential.  If we have been bad enough to require a 'trip to the woodshed' the soul is taken out 'spanked'. Its not actually a spanking but it is highly effective. When all of that is complete we are recycled back for another lifetime. We are put into a newborn baby about 3 days old.

We then spend another lifetime earning to live, or actually trying to learn to live our lives without envy, hate or greed and to live our lives with integrity. We also need to remember to tell our families how much we love them and we need to tell them this every single day.

When we have learned to live our lives without envy, hate or greed we get to go out and play with the adults. And I hear its a lot more fun than doing time on planet earth.

I love this, this is so true.

"Bulls-Eye" !

Who wants to elaborate more on this?
This planet is no prisonplanet. It is a educationground, a interim-station, for some it is a bootcamp, and for some - they do their duty here.
There is more to us than flesh and blood!
Someone once told me, and i opportunistic quote him now (Razz):
"Befor you go out into space and look under rocks for extraterrestrial life, it is imperative first to know who YOU are"

It is my firm conviction that living a life to its fullest and gaining wisdom through experienced living in flesh and blood, as a man or woman is the way outa here. Everything else leads to repetitive recycling back to earth or similar places.

My reality is that the between-lives operation is a bit harsher than is given above.
