China Lake Naval Weapons Center is the Navy's "Groom Lake". There are a lot of underground facilities there and although it doesn't get as much attention as Groom Lake all kinds of secret work goes on there.
It is located about 40 miles north of Edwards Air Force Base.

Thank you for the info.
The reason I am asking is, my friend had heard that they were doing something major and wanted to know what it was.
I was wondering if you have heard anything about what they are doing out there.

Every branch of the military is involved in something major at this time. Whether it is preparing the alleged ET attack or what I don't know.
But it is sure going to be interesting.

China Lake is where the US Navy does much of it's terrestrial weapons developments.
The really interesting stuff occurs at other sites. Look into Blue Point for more.

OK, no problem, I thought I had seen AV8R before over at ATS. Maybe it was on the license plate in front of me.

Sorry Sir, that was not me.
ATS is still around? I thought they would have gone under by now. I am surprised they could have lasted till now. Maybe I should give them another look?
