The whole human bone structure is Calcium. THIS IS A METAL.
Your body is a METAL bio-chemical machine.
So the reason your body isn't a big jello-like mass is a metal structure.

Calcium is a metal because it follows most of the physical properties of metals. It also forms metallic bonds with other calcium atoms..., forms positively charged ions and bonds with non-metals to form salts. All these chemical properties point to calcium being a metal.
