Welcome to Barsoom! A truly Alien World
We have collected many interesting anomalies on Mars. I am going to use this thread to post the more interesting ones like a photo gallery. I will do a few at a time to allow others to find us here first and have time to post replies. Each one of these finds is taken from a Malin Space Systems image and the number and link to the original is supplied. The originals are large files so be forewarned if you are using dial up.
So to begin this series lets take one of my favorite ones. This is a crater I call...
"Eve's Apple"
This is a very interesting and detailed Crater. Looks just like a Mackinosh Apple complete with the leaves... Perhaps this is Eve's Apple? I can't wait for the "scientists" to explain this one away

From Mars With Love
I was always told that Venus was the Planet of Love and Mars was the Planet of War... It seems that just like with everything else THEY LIED!
Below is a Crater that has a very interesting anomaly in the bottom...

Now one by itself is unusual enough, but it doesn't end there...
This next one looks more like a flower arrangement than a Crater. The land is in fact raised here...

And this last one definately looks like it has been carved out.

The colorization is ours, but Malin Space Systems also couldn't resist the pink tone on their collection. We have shown you four nice ones... we have found NINE so far. The rest of the collection is available on the Pegasus site...

Now to keep with the colors of the season....
Tree's on Mars?
Wayne Newton's Ranch, Las Vegas
No Wayne Newton is not living on Mars... We have taken this image to show that there are other and better sources available than Google Earth. The image above is still not maximum zoom, but the property is large. Everyone in Vegas knows where he lives so we are not exposing any secrets and this service is available to anyone in Las Vegas through Clark County Assessors Office.
The main reason we included it is because when we zoomed in on the area we found the trees to be remarkably familiar.... the following two images will zoom in on the trees...
This is what trees look like when you take a photo from outer space. BTW can you find the horses in the above photo?. Another point to be made here is that this quality and detail is available for free to the public. Now stop and think for a minute what the Military and the three letter clubs have access to... Sobering thought isn't it? Remember this the next time you are sunbathing in the back yard!
The last two images show you trees on Earth. Now lets take a little trip off world and look at some other Anomalies on our favorite planet...
"The Trees of Barsoom"
The image above and below are parts of image M0804688. They look like trees, though if they are they would be HUGE trees. The green color has been added to highlight the detail of the "branches". There is no other known geological factor that looks like this. The shadows are also consistent with the tree theory.

MORE INFO from Pegasus
Finally we have this quote from Arthur C Clarke...
"I'm 95% convinced that there's no other conclusion..... I fully agree that this is close to incontrovertible evidence of large present or past 'tree-like' organisms on Mars. I do not believe that these will be explained as 'geological features' or illusions. Only closer-in imaging will decide the matter." - Arthur C. 900918 is FULL of human settlements.
Jam packed with them in the center section.
How can it be that nobody ever did any color studies on these, before?
When were these photos taken?

Is this a Google map?
Where is this located, anyhow? I've got half a dozen of these visible ssettlements in my file now.

I'm looking carefully at some of these other raw images -- 00395 and 100090, and they're INVERTED. They have LUMPS WHERE THEY OUGHT TO HAVE holes.
At the bottom of the "holes" are square matrices like streets. Naturally, that is where some atmosphere might collect if they had equipment or lots of plants.
Why is this, you suppose?

Hi Chaiyah,
Just out of curiousity, what is the scale on these pictures? How large is one pixel on these photos? You say you can see human figures and other human activities in these photos, and I am not questioning that at all, but I am very curious as to the scale of the photos that you are interpreting.
I am not sure of the scale at all, but it appears to me that the scale is quite large, so that makes me wonder if the human figures you are seeing on the photo is 5 miles tall, 1 mile tall, only 500 feet tall, or are the photos showing such incredible detail that they are showing a human figure that is only 6 feet tall?
What do you think? |

I don't have a clue.
I expect that it is exaggerated (whatever the Official figure is); but that is my suspicions speaking out.
