Can someone explain to me what this glowing pyramid is? Is it just some kind of funky photography thing or is there a neon glowing sign around a Luxor Casino on the moon?
There are also 4 pyramid shaped objects to the right of the midpoint between encke b and encke c. They form a row in this pic and none of these objects are labelled on the virtual moon atlas.

just an FYI, i got to all these pictures via the Virtual Moon Atlas
if you type in the names of craters you sometimes get links which lead you directly to the nasa photos of the craters.
this picture was particularly odd because it was not referenced in the moon atlas. I stumbled upon it after looking at 137 and 139 and wanting to see what was in between and just did a manual search on 138 which brought up the picture I posted above with the crazy triangle
iirc i was trying to get a better look at the odd looking stuff on the 137 pic and was hoping a different angle would shed some light.
well i found some light alright
i'm surprised nobody from teh community here has said this is just some error in the film development or something |

as far as i can tell the glowing triangle is just some kind of issue with developing the film. I have seen several other lunar mission photos with these same 'artefacts' on them.
I still think the pyramids are kind of cool/odd but the glowing thing is certainly just an explainable anomoly of filmography.
